메릴랜드대학교의 자폐증·가족·문화·의사소통 교육 연구실(ACCEL)은 언어와 문화가 특수교육을 받는 아동들의 경험에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 연구합니다. K-AFIRM은 한국 가족들이 자신의 문화와 언어에 맞게 조정된 자폐 관련 자료와 실천 방법에 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 만들어졌습니다.

The Autism, Family, Culture, and Communication Education Lab (ACCEL) at the University of Maryland studies how language and culture affect the experiences of children in special education. K-AFIRM was created to give Korean families easy access to autism resources and practices that are adapted to their culture and language.
